Air, road, rail, maritime or inland waterway, the transport sector is responsible for more than 24% of global CO2 emissions. Green mobility – based on non-fossil and biofuel energies, better vehicle performance as well as efficient logistics practices (massification, logistics in and between companies, etc.) are essential for sustainable development. Given the ever increasing global connectivity, the sector must provide a fair and inclusive mobility to support economic development and travel all around the world. Relocation and changing individual behaviours will also shape the industry as rising attention will be paid to global geopolitical issues and ethics when it comes to the goods transported.
